An RBI-single by Pablo Salinas put Alvin back on top in the second inning.
The Dolphins added to their lead in the fifth with four runs coming in on four hits and pushing Alvin’s advantage to 7-2.
The Bulldogs chipped away at the deficit with an RBI-single by Zach Grichor in the bottom the fifth.
Alvin kept the runs coming again in the sixth with a two-run home run to right field by Chris Herrmann.
The Dolphins drove in another run in the ninth inning on a sacrifice-fly to score Richard Porfirio from third base.
