Bulldogs in JC Gridiron Top 10

— The first round of preseason football polls is out, and without surprise, Navarro is in the Top 10.
The folks at jcgridiron.rivals.com have released their first summer preseason poll, called the Dirty 30, and Navarro is No. 9. The Bulldogs will find a familiar foe at the top, as Blinn, which derailed Navarro’s national title hopes last season, is the No. 1 ranked team.
Navarro went 10-1 last year and ended the season at No. 5 in the NJCAA poll. Blinn, which ended up losing its bowl game and finished 9-3, wound up 11th in that poll.
Navarro’s loss in the SWJCFC left it without a bowl game.
The Bulldogs had been No. 1 for seven weeks before the loss to Blinn.
