Whitehead 50th Anniversary

— Jeannette and William H. “Sonny” Whitehead, Jr. will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 28 at Mildred Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
Sonny and the former Joyce Jeannette Myers were married at Mildred Baptist church on June 27, 1958 by the Rev. Gerald M. Williamson.
Sonny worked over the years at several service stations and retired after 20 years with ABC Ag Center. Jeannette has been a loving wife and mother to her family. The couple’s four children are; Dianna Berry of Midlothian, Rick Whitehead of Woodland Hills, Calif., Jeff Whitehead of Corsicana, and Chance Whitehead (deceased). They also are blessed to have 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The couple plan to renew their vows and hope their family and friends will join them in their celebration.
