Bill and Vada Baldwin, of Corsicana, celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012. They married on Feb. 2, 1952 in Corsicana. Bill was born in Richland, Texas and graduated from Richland High School. Vada was born in Van Zandt County and raised in Roane, Texas. She attended Corsicana High School. The couple have been residents of Corsicana since they married. They have one daughter, LouAnn, of Carrollton. Bill worked for Safeway as a meat cutter until they closed in Corsicana, then worked for H.E.B. until he retired. Vada worked for the Corsicana Public Schools. Bill is a well-known fiddler and musician, and has played in Country and Western dance bands all around the North Texas area since he was 14 years old.
