Dalton’s career took the Miller family from Colorado to Florida, Mississippi and eventually to Texas where they finally settled and continue to reside for more than 50 years. Dalton also served overseas in Okinawa, Japan, South Korea, Germany and Turkey as a photographer for the Air Force while Doris stayed behind and supported her husband while raising their three daughters.
