Tigers in the NFL

1. David Hawthorne, LB, Seattle. Had two sacks among his team-high eight tackles and also forced a fumble that set up the Seahawks’ second touchdown in a 38-17 loss to the Cowboys for Hawthorne’s homecoming to his home state. Seattle hosts Detroit at 3:05 p.m. Sunday.

2. Danieal Manning, DB, Chicago. Had one of the best games of his four-year career with seven tackles, an interception and a forced fumble which he recovered in the Bears’ 30-6 win over Cleveland. Chicago hosts Arizona at noon Sunday.

3. Louis Vasquez, OL, San Diego. Started at guard in the Chargers’ 24-16 victory over Oakland last Sunday. San Diego is at the New York Giants at 3:15 p.m. Sunday.

4. Billy Yates, OL, Cleveland. Was inactive for Sunday’s game against Chicago. The Browns are off this week.
