Tabitha Kay (Vinson) Thornton

Tabitha Kay (Vinson) Thornton, 34, of Frost, passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2008 at her residence.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.

Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with the Rev. Dan Layne officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Thurman Thornton, Vincent Thornton, Doyce “Slim” Thornton, Jason “Slacker” Bowsheir, Kirk Vinson and Larkin Coston.

She was born June 8, 1974 in Colorado Springs, Colo. to Ron and Mary Barber Vinson. She loved her home and family and enjoyed spending time near water fishing and swimming. She loved being with her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband, Thurman H. Thornton III of Frost; children, Vincent, Ben, John and Judith Thornton, all of Frost; parents, Ron and Mary Vinson of Corsicana; brothers. Kirk Vinson of Dallas and Benjamin Vinson of Corsicana; sister, Rebekah Tally of Corsicana.
