Amy Michelle Motley of Rice and Andy Dewayne Parrish of Navarro Mills were united in marriage Aug. 5 at the home of Barbara Smith of Rice, mother of the bride, with David E. Owen officiating.

The groom is the son of Aubrey and Janet Parrish of Purdon.

Christie Ceballos attended as maid of honor with Bryonna and Megan Smith serving as flower girls.

The best man was Steven Collier, and Paul Henry Parrish served as ring bearer.

The bride chose a long white gown for the garden wedding, and wore a veil crafted by her mother. In keeping with her pink and white color scheme, her mother designed and made the bouquets and boutonnieres as well.

Music included “God Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flats, and traditional wedding music played as the bride walked down the aisle.

A reception following the wedding was held at the home of the bride’s mother, and included out-of-town guests along with family members.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Galveston where they enjoyed the beach and a trip to Moody Gardens.
