Pattie Sue Smith, 83, of Malakoff passed away Monday, April 28, 2008, at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. today at the New Corinth CME Church, 120 North Havana, Malakoff, with the Rev. Tyrone Pettiford II officiating. Interment will follow at Steen Cemetery in Malakoff. Ivory W. Walker, 97, of Powell’s Elm Flat community passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008, at Heritage West Retirement Village in Corsicana. Services will be 1 p.m. today at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Powell with the Rev. Charles Douglas officiating. Interment will follow at Elm Flat Cemetery. Arrangements by Scott Funeral Home.

Maurice Haynes, 73, of Corsicana passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at Navarro Regional Hospital. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 2105 E. Rossie Lee Jones Roundtree, 90, of Madisonville passed away Sunday, April 27, 2008, at the Madisonville Care Center in Madisonville.
