Allen K. Ward, 72, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2008, at Navarro Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008, at the American Legion Post 22, 632 N. Beaton St.

Gowan Milton (Speedy) Cockerell, 86, of Dublin died Sunday, July 20, 2008, at a Dublin Nursing Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at Lacy Funeral Home in Stephenville. Services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Balmorhea Cemetery in Balmorhea, Texas, at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2008.
