Martha Lynn Sheppard

Martha Lynn Sheppard 52, of Crosby, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012.  

Martha was born on Feb. 19, 1960, in Victoria, to Robert M. and Lena Mae (Martins) Letlow. Martha worked for Amegy Bank in computer security for many years and was a devoted member of Lake Way Baptist Church in Atascocita. When she wasn’t busy working Martha enjoyed going fishing with her husband, reading and most of all spending time with her family (especially her grandchildren).  Martha was a very strong, loyal, loving and caring woman who will be deeply missed by all her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Barbara Benton.  

Survivors include her loving husband, Gary Sheppard; daughter, Natalie Sowell and husband Roger; daughter, Angela Sheppard; daughter, Sonya Beagle and husband Andrew; sister, Linda LaCour and husband Tommy; sister, Betty Carver and husband Johnny; sister, Sandra DuPont and husband Ernest; brother-in-law, Wayne Benton; sister-in-law, Kyra Cariker; grandchildren, Jessyca, Kaylee, Ashlynn; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Martha’s Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at Lake Way Baptist Church in Atascocita. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Blooming Grove.
