Schriefer-Flaumenhaft Engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Schriefer of New Braunfels are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Erin, to David Matthew Flaumenhaft, son of Dr. and Mrs. Gad Flaumenhaft of Indianapolis, Ind. Grandparents of the bride-elect are Babbette Samuels, the late Irvin Samuels, Delores Schriefer and the late Alfred Schriefer, all of Corsicana. David is the grandson of Claire Flaumenhaft and the late Moshe Flaumenhaft of the Bronx, N.Y. and Julius Eisenstein, the late Rena Eisenstein and Ann Grosman of Sunrise, Fla.

Ashley is a 2006 cum laude graduate of Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in music therapy. Ashley is a board certified music therapist, and a board eligible child life specialist. She is currently a teacher at The Goddard School in Indianapolis.

David is a 2003 graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in general studies. He further holds an associate’s degree in paramedic studies. David works as a paramedic for the City of Indianapolis.

An August 31, 2008, wedding is planned at the Marriott North in Indianapolis, with Rabbi Arnold Bienstock officiating.
