Setliff-Powers Engagement

— Mr. and Mrs. Scott Lee Powers of Corsicana are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Jeremy Powers, to Kelsi Setliff, daughter of Lonnie and Dianne Setliff of Farmington, N.M. The couple will marry on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 in McKinney.

Jeremy is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Powers of Eagle Lake and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Elder of Houston. He graduated from Corsicana High School in 2005 and the Rawls School of Business at Texas Tech University in Lubbock in 2009, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration. Jeremy went on to attend the Navarro College Fire Academy and the EMTS 911 Paramedic School. He is currently a firefighter and paramedic for the City of Rowlett.

Kelsi is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Setliff of Midland, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Needham of Aztec, N.M., and Ms. Deloris Needham of Oklahoma City, Okla. She graduated from Farmington High School in 2007 and the College of Education at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque in 2010. Kelsi currently teaches fourth grade at J.W. Webb in McKinney.

Following the wedding, the couple will reside in McKinney.
