Special to the Sun/Loyd Cook The goal of my cross-country motorcycle trip was reached ?the Pacific Ocean. The waves continually rolled, filling the air with their crashing sounds. Birds littered the dark sands of this southern Washington state beach. The smell of salt permeated the atmosphere.
