Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance takes this opportunity to thank some very fine individuals of our community for such a wonderful, powerful and glorious experience during Martin Luther King Jr. Day Jan. 20, 2014 here in the city of Corsicana.
A special thanks goes to some very fine citizens here in Corsicana: Elder Valorie Horn for directing our city-wide mass choir; Minister Orlando Williams, Lucretia Brandon, and Patrick Gunnell assisting; Penny Liggins, committee member, for the wonderful occasion. A special thanks goes to one of the finest musicians in the city, Paul Lewis for the music rendered on Monday evening. Special thanks also to Pastor Cathy Douglas, the emcee, and Assistant Pastor Margaret Evans of Single Believer’s Ministry for their help in making the program a success. A special, special thanks goes to Pastor Larry L. Polk Sr. of the Second Mission Baptist Church for being our host this year.

This was our sixth year celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day held in the City of Corsicana. “Keep the Dream Alive — A Day On, and Not a Day Off.”
We also recognize our honorees for the evening event, long-time educator Warner Redus, Sirvella Monie and Paul Lewis for their service to the community.
