Watkins-Feldt Engagement

— Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Watkins of Corsicana are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Jordan, to Michael Jacob Feldt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wesley Feldt of Dallas. The couple will marry June 15, 2014 in Aspen, Colo.

Ashley is the granddaughter of Mr. Carmack Watkins and the late Mrs. Norma Watkins of Corsicana and Mr. Joe Lee Kirgan, Jr. and the late Mrs. Bette Kirgan of Fairfield. She graduated from Corsicana High School in 2007 and Texas Tech University in 2011 where she received a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the College of Mass Communications. Ashley is currently employed as a personal assistant in Dallas.

Jake is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harrell Feldt of Hunt and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Burleson Brooks of Dallas. He graduated from Highland Park High School in 2006 and Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the College of Arts and Sciences. Jake is managing partner of Watkins Royalties, LLC in Midland.

Following the wedding, the couple will reside in Midland.
