Benefit for Bruce Adams

A benefit to help Bruce Adams, who suffered two strokes and spent months in the hospital and rehab, will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 16 at the Remington Ranch Event Center, 122 W. Third Ave. A brisket dinner with all the trimmings will be available for $10, Ira Bradford and Bustin’ Loose will perform, there will be a raffle, door prizes, and an auction at 3 p.m.

Doctors did not expect Adams to walk for at least two years following the strokes and surgery, but he fought hard and was walking within two months. However, he still can’t work and his medical bills are monumental. Adams served for 15 years as a volunteer firefighter at Navarro Volunteer Fire Department, and they will assist with the benefit. Come out and have a great time and help a worthy cause.
