Allen-Libal Wedding

Nicole Marie Allen and Austin Lynn Libal of Orange Park, Fla. were joined in marriage on June 15, 2013 at Riverside Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Fla. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Ryan Rouse, executive director of the Cabaret Children’s Home in Cabaret, Haiti and long time friend of the bride and groom.

The bride is the daughter of David and Michelle Allen of Orange Park, Fla. The groom is the son of Rick and Donna Libal of Orange Park, Fla. The bride is the granddaughter of Richard and Jennifer Allen and Robert and Patti Gornick of Orange Park. The groom is the grandson of Nelson and LaVerne Galaway of Corsicana and “adopted” grandparents James and Kay Lynch of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride was attended by Maid of Honor Alyssa Nicholson, bridesmaids Kenzie and Leah Davis, Ashley and Erika Allen, cousins of the bride, Danielle Marone and Cordelia Sheehan, Gamma Phi Beta sorority sisters and junior bridesmaids Abbie Allen and Brianne McCullough, cousins of the bride. Flower girls and ring bearer were Leah and Logan Gornick, cousins of the bride. Attendants for the groom were Best Man Ryan Allen and groomsmen Donald Kehrt, Braz Kennedy, Jordan O’Brien, Michael Pimental and Jordan Wiggins.

A cocktail hour, dinner and dance in the Florida Ballroom at the Omni Hotel in downtown Jacksonville followed the ceremony.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Florida State University where she received a bachelors degree in education and is currently teaching government and coaches the Raiderette Dance Team at Orange Park High School.

Austin is a 2012 graduate of The Baptist College of Florida and will be attending New Orleans Theological Seminary beginning in the spring of 2014. He currently serves as Associate Student Pastor at First Baptist Church of Orange Park.

After a 12-day Mediterranean honeymoon cruise the couple will reside in Jacksonville, Florida.
