Wigley-Allen Engagement

Danny and Caroline Wigley of Corsicana are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Britney Nicole Wigley, to Benjamin K. Allen, son of Perry and Kathy Allen of Burleson.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Buddy and Mary Wigley of Corsicana and the late Moises and Georgia Salazar Sr. of Rosebud.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Bruce and Shirley Allen of Burleson and Kendall and Edith Kay of Adair, Okla.

Britney is a 2007 graduate of Corsicana High School.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science at Texas State University in San Marcos. She is currently employed by Seton Medical Center in Harker Heights.

Ben is a 2007 graduate of North Crowley High School.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Education from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in Belton. He is currently employed by First United Methodist Church in Temple as the Youth Director.

The marriage ceremony will be celebrated on Feb. 22, 2014, at The First United Methodist Church in Temple.
