Enchanted Rose pageant picks winner

Corsicana — Chloe Isabella Davault, 4, was crowned Miss Heart of Corsicana. She will continue supporting the animal shelter during the year with volunteering her time and fund raising.

Chloe is the youngest child of Amanda and Joshua Davault who resides in Atascocita with her parents and older brother Nicolas.   Chloe participated in her first pageant at age 3, winning a mini supreme award.  Shortly after, she and her family was filmed by Toddlers and Tiara’s for their season five episode, Universal Motown. She holds numerous state and national titles, and loves meeting new friends at pageants around the country.

Chloe’s great grandmother Joy Hart and great aunt, Rita Hart are long time residents of Corsicana. Great Grandmother Joy is no stranger to the pageant world having sewn designer competition gowns for Miss Texas and Little Miss Texas in years past.

Chloe’s participation in the Enchanted Rose Pageant was determined in large part on the basis of its planned support of the Corsicana Animal Shelter.  Chloe loves animals, especially kittens and puppies with a lovable yellow lab and two cats at home.

The next Enchanted Rose Production will be the “Southern Belle Round Up!” This pageant will be a cowgirls dream. It will be a camo blasted western theme hoedown with a weenie roast and indoor swimming pool party following crowning.

The Enchanted Rose is honored to support the Navarro County Humane Society with this pageant.

I am typically not an anxious person. Yes I like to get things done, rather than leave loose ends; that may make me a little anxious.

  • samantha stroube daviss.jpg Take time to breathe

We are all in such a rush these days that time is passing us by and I don’t even think we realize it. This year our family decided to stay home for Spring Break and have a “stay-cation.” I had such feelings of guilt not taking our kids somewhere, because we love to take every opportunity to expose them to the world, but it just wasn’t in the cards for us this year.
