Courtesy photo A ‘Heroes of Navarro County’ quilt created by Margaret Ward, in honor of her husband Allen Ward, was admired at the Nov. 13 meeting of the James Blair Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. The quilt has pictures of Navarro County soldiers who fought in World War I through the Iraq War. The quilt won honorable mention at the 2008 Texas State Fair.
