Burn ban in effect

— The Navarro County Commissioners Court Monday reenacted a ban on all outdoor burning in the county.
Extremely dry conditions, high winds, and several instances of controlled burns getting out of hand prompted the action, the court said.
The burn ban will remain in effect until lifted by the court.
