Eastside Church of Christ, 906 E. 13th Ave., will have a city-wide youth lectureship at 10:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. May 11 and at 7:30 p.m. May 12-14. For transportation, call (903) 872-4504. Willie Wilmore is minister and Alton Albert is assistant minister.

First United Methodist Church, located on the corner of State Highway 14 and Main Street, Wortham, will have its annual fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. May 17. Menu will be fresh catfish and all the trimmings. Cost will be $6 for adults, $3 for children 4 to 12, and free for children under 3.

Grace Community Church, 227 N. Beaton St., will have a women’s conference, “Finally Letting Go,” featuring Christian recording artist Donna Kay from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. May 17. Kelly’s Temple Church of God in Christ, 501 N. Third St., will have revival services at 7:30 p.m. May 20-23 with Elder Mack Walker of Houston. You are invited to come and hear this man of God. Life in the Word Bible Church, 1408 N. Beaton St., where Don and Emma Jessie are pastors, will celebrate its sixth church anniversary at 4 p.m. May 25. Special guest will be Apostle Raymond Portley and Total Deliverance Worship Center of Dallas. He attended D. Edwin Johnson Bible Institute of Dallas and Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie. He currently serves as national auxiliary director and first vice president of Full Gospel New Life Association under the presiding prelate Bishop J. Ardis Jones of True Vine Holy Temple in Dallas.

Lone Star Cowboy Church of Navarro County invites you to join in at 8:30 a.m. each Sunday for worship service. The church meets at the Navarro County Exposition Center, 4021 W. State Highway 22. From 3:30 to 5 p.m. each Sunday, the youth meet for an afternoon of fun and fellowship.
On May 25, the Texas Prairie Band will return to lead LSCC’s music in the morning worship service. The band’s style of music is described as hard-driving bluegrass gospel.

Love Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 400 N. Benton St., where David Wilson is pastor and Sharron Wilson and Roy Sanders III are ministers, invites you to join the usher ministry for a prayer breakfast at 7:30 a.m. May 10. The theme will be “Prayer Changes Things” from Acts 12:5-7. The spoken word will be given by Minister Corey Crawford of New Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church where Donné Watson is pastor. Macedonia Baptist Church, located on the corner of Ross and Marsh streets, Streetman, invites the public to come and worship at 7:30 p.m. May 10 for a pre-Mother’s Day service. Men’s Community Prayer Breakfast will meet at 6:45 a.m. May 14 at The Word Church, 2708 W. Eighth Ave. This meeting is open to all men in the community. Mid Lakes Church of Christ, located on State Highway 14, Wortham, will have an old-fashioned tent meeting at 10:30 a.m. May 18 and singing at 6:30 p.m., and meetings at 7 p.m. May 18-21.

New Bethel Baptist Church in Goodlow, where the Rev. Earnest Betts is pastor, will have its spring revival at 7:30 p.m. May 13-16. The evangelist for the week will be Bishop Stanley Lawson of Longview.
Also, New Bethel Baptist Church will be the location for the “Moss Family and Friends Day” at 3:30 p.m. May 18 for their 15th celebration. You are invited to come and have a good time in the Lord. There will be singing and preaching with various guests from Dallas, Corsicana and Kerens. The preached words will be by the Rev. Johnny Earl Moss, pastor of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Oakwood. Dinner will be served.

New Birth Sanctuary Church of God in Christ, 805 S. 15th St., where D.R. Washington is pastor, will have Minister Allen Campbell of 13th Avenue Christian Church as guest speaker at 7 p.m. May 11. The public is invited.

Open Bible study and gospel singing is held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. every Thursday at the Senior Activity Center, 919 W. Park Ave., Corsicana. Petty’s Chapel Baptist Church members and Pastor Sonny Buie invite you to their spring revival featuring Brother Joe Schmidt at 6:30 p.m. May 21-23. There will be a youth rally from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 24 with a bounce house, giant slide, obstacle course, popcorn, cotton candy and snow cones. The revival will conclude from 8:30 to 11 a.m. May 25. Bring friends and family and come out for a revival of your heart.
Schmidt has been working with kids, teens and adults across the United States and some foreign countries in camps, day cares, schools, VBS, rallies, conferences, etc. He utilizes music, songs, illusions, object lessons, games and stories. He will teach, challenge, entertain and encourage participants to not only get on the right track, but to stay on the right track and be all they can be for their growth and for the sake of the kingdom. Roane Chapel Full Gospel Church, 100 S. Parham St., where Elder Harold L. Evans Sr. is pastor, invites you to the women’s day annual program at 3 p.m. May 25. The theme will be “Take off the old and put on the new.” The scripture will be 2 Corinthians 5:17. Guest speaker will be Pastor Arthur Faulk of Greater Wilgo Baptist Church. United Methodist Church, 200 Maplewood, Richland, invites you to an organ concert and spaghetti dinner at 3 p.m. May 18 at the church. The event will be a fund-raiser for the youth mission trip to Arkansas in June. Dr. Jan Kreitner-Cain, pastor, will perform a concert on the new organ followed by the dinner, sponsored by the women of the church.
United Methodist Church of Richland is a small church trying to do a large task. The church has committed to sending the youth on CTC mission trip to Arkansas. Your prayers, thoughts and gifts are needed. Come share the joy with the United Methodist Church of Richland.

Unity Baptist Church, 406 S. 34th St., where Brother Chad Owens is pastor, invites you to services: Sunday — Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m., worship and children’s church at 11 a.m., Bible study classes at 5 p.m., and worship at 6 p.m.; and Wednesday — prayer meeting at 7 p.m. King’s Kids Club meets the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month with Debbie Owens and Matt and Miranda Wallen as teachers.
