First United Methodist Church, located on the corner of State Highway 14 and Main Street, Wortham, will have its annual fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. May 17. Menu will be fresh catfish and all the trimmings. Cost will be $6 for adults, $3 for children 4 to 12, and free for children under 3.

Petty’s Chapel Baptist Church members and Pastor Sonny Buie invite you to their spring revival featuring Brother Joe Schmidt at 6:30 p.m. May 21-23. Schmidt has been working with kids, teens and adults across the United States and some foreign countries in camps, day cares, schools, VBS, rallies, conferences, etc. He utilizes music, songs, illusions, object lessons, games and stories.
