FLOOD WARNING FOR TRINITY RIVER AT TRINIDAD

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a Flood Warning for the Trinity River at Trinidad from Saturday afternoon until further notice, or the warning is canceled.

At 11 a.m. Thursday, the stage was at 9.19 feet. Minor flooding is forecast. Flood stage is 33 feet.

The forecast for the Trinity River at Trinidad calls for the river to rise above flood stage by Saturday afternoon, and continue to rise to a crest near 35 feet by Tuesday morning. This crest compares to a previous high crest of 35.3 feet on Nov. 15, 1998.
