— City Wide Women will have its 29th annual revival at 7:30 p.m. July 8-10 at Greater Love Outreach Fellowship Church, 700 E. Park, where Elder William Lewis Jr. is pastor. The speaker will be Evangelist Gertrude P. Richardson.
Richardson’s pastor for more than 30 years has been Elder Floyd Gene Taylor at Taylor’s Memorial Church of God in Christ. Richardson has a singing and preaching ministry with singing, prophecy, teaching, preaching, gifts of healing by God’s spirit, and is a full-time minister/evangelist. She is a graduate of G.W. Jackson High School, International Seminary, and Therapon Institute of Counselors, and attended Navarro College. Richardson is retired from the City of Corsicana as a senior customer service representative. She is a wife, mother and grandmother and a servant of God to all mankind.

Bethlehem Baptist Church, 409 N. Third St., where the Rev. Dairy Johnson is pastor, invites the public to come out for a pre-homecoming musical at 7 p.m. July 11. You are invited to come worship in song and praise as the Lord is lifted up. Sherretta Lusk is chairman.

Community Baptist Church, located at 125 County Road SW 3040 and State Highway 31, will have Vacation Bible School from 7 to 9 p.m. July 6-10 for ages 3 to 12. The theme will be “Passport to the Promised Land.”

Dayspring Apostolic Network will have its eighth annual conference, “God’s Kingdom and the New Apostolic Reformation,” July 17-19 at Lighthouse of Praise Ministries, 200 E. Collin St., where Pastor Dan Layne is pastor. Apostolic commissioning will be 7 p.m. July 17. Speakers will be Jim Hodges at 10 a.m. July 18 and Bob Long at 7 p.m. July 18 and 10 a.m. July 19. Ebenezer Baptist Church in Powell will have its annual men and women’s day at 3 p.m. July 5. Guests will be Pastor L.L. Polk Sr. and Second Mission Baptist Church, Pastor Johnny Moss and Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Oakwood, and The Spiritual Disciples of Dallas. The spoken word will be brought by Pastor Polk. First Independent Baptist Church officers and members will observe Pastor Donald Lacey’s ninth anniversary through July 12.
At 3:30 p.m. July 5, the Rev. Dairy Johnson Sr., pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church, will speak. At 10:50 a.m. July 12, the first anniversary hour will be held. The guest will be Minister Cedric Barber of New Millennium Baptist Church of Dallas. The 3:30 p.m. July 12 speaker will be Dr. Gregory Foster Sr., pastor of First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park from Richardson. The theme will be “A Pastor for Times Like These” from 2 Timothy 4:1-5.

General Assembly Church of the Living God, P.G.T., 141 S. State Highway 309, Kerens, where Elder Omega Dunnington is pastor, recently remodeled the church. An open house program has been scheduled for 3:30 p.m. July 5. Eldress Mary Henderson from Church of the Living God of Athens will be the guest speaker. Lone Star Cowboy Church of Navarro County, 4495 W. State Highway 22, invites you to join in at 10 a.m. each Sunday for worship. A ranch sorting practice will be held at 7 p.m. July 3. A fee of $20 per person allows you to sort as many times as you want. LSCC has been invited to ride in the Blooming Grove parade on July 4. Riders are to meet at 9:30 a.m. On July 11, there will be a trail ride at Fairfield State Park. Riders are to meet at 9 a.m. Cost will be $4 per person; seniors will be $2 per person. Must show coggins at gate. Weekly activities include Bible study at 7 p.m. Wednesdays and barrel racing practice at 7 p.m. Thursdays. Love Chapel Baptist Church, 400 N. Benton St., where David E. Wilson serves as pastor and Sharron D. Wilson serves as minister, will observe youth day July 5. Sunday school will begin at 9:45 a.m. with worship at 11 a.m. The annual program will begin at 3:30 p.m. with the youth ministry in charge of services. Men’s Community Prayer Breakfast will meet at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Lone Star Room of the Walker Dining Hall on the Navarro College campus. This meeting is open to all men in the community.
