Dec. 12

First Baptist Church: The pre-kindergarten and kindergarten children of M&Ms & More will sing Christmas songs at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Chapel, 510 W. Collin St., Corsicana.

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church: Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 3000 W. State Highway 22, Corsicana, will have the Mass of the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe at 7 p.m.



Dec. 13

Corsicana ISD Choral Department: Choirs from Drane Intermediate School, Collins Middle School and Corsicana High School will perform at 7 p.m. at the CHS Auditorium.

Dawson ISD Band: Dawson sixth through 12th grade band students will present a Christmas concert at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center in Dawson.

Hubbard ISD Band: Hubbard sixth through 12th grade band students will have a Christmas concert at 7 p.m. in the school cafetorium.

Fairfield ISD Band: Fairfield sixth through 12th grade band students will have a Christmas concert at 6:30 p.m. in the Fairfield High School Auditorium.

Kerens Kids Christmas Party: The annual Kerens Kids Christmas Party will be held from 6 to 7:15 p.m. at the Community Room of Franklin Bank in Kerens. Bring your camera and take pictures of your kids with Santa Claus. Refreshments will be served.

Mildred ISD Band: Mildred band students in sixth through 12th grades will perform at 7 p.m. in the Lane Gym, located on the school campus, 5475 W. U.S. Highway 287, Corsicana.

Dec. 14

Arts District Chorale: The radiant glory of Handel’s “Messiah,” combined with glittering talent reflecting the joy of the season, will be performed by the Arts District Chorale free to the public at 8 p.m. at Drane Intermediate School, 100 S. 18th St., Corsicana.

Collins Catholic School: Collins Catholic School, 3000 W. State Highway 22, Corsicana, will have a pre-kindergarten Christmas program at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

Dec. 15

Believer’s Bible Church: The youth of Believer’s Bible Church, 2400 Bowie Drive, Corsicana, will be wrapping Christmas gifts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost will be $2 for small packages and $3 for large packages. Donations will also be accepted. For more information, call (903) 872-7481.

Corsicana Arts District: Corsicana Arts District will present a family holiday event. There will caroling, free arts and crafts, cookies and hot chocolate beginning at 5 p.m. At 6 p.m., the Palace Theatre will feature the movie “Polar Express.” Tickets to the movie are $5 and will include popcorn and drink. Day in December: Day in December, an annual arts and crafts show, will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at College Park Mall, 3500 W. Seventh Ave., Corsicana. There will be handcrafted items, Christmas decorations, jewelry, quilts, jellies and jams, baked goods and much more as vendors from Corsicana, Navarro County and across the state participate in this annual event.

First Baptist Church: First Baptist Church in Kerens will have a Christmas cantata at 10:50 a.m.

First Baptist Church: First Baptist Church in Fairfield will have a Christmas choir program at 10:45 a.m. The gospel quartet Forgiven will give a Christmas concert at 6:30 p.m.

First Baptist Church: First Baptist Church in Wortham will present a musical drama, “The Joy of Christmas,” at 6:30 p.m.

First United Methodist Church: First United Methodist Church, 320 N. 15th St., Corsicana, will hold its annual children’s Christmas musical at 10:50 a.m. in the Great Hall of the church.

First United Methodist Church: First United Methodist Church in Fairfield will have a Christmas cantata at 6 p.m.

Lakeside United Methodist Church: Lakeside United Methodist Church, 515 Farm-to-Market Road 416, Streetman, will present its Christmas cantata, “Let There Be Light,” at 9 a.m.

New Hope Baptist Church: New Hope Baptist Church, 581 Farm-to-Market Road 416, Streetman, will present Christmas music, “The Love of God at Christmas,” at 11 a.m.

Northside Baptist Church: Northside Baptist Church, 2800 N. Beaton St., Corsicana, will present a children’s choir Christmas program at 6 p.m.

Dawson Elementary School: Dawson Elementary School students will present Christmas carols at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center in Dawson. The pre-kindergarten through second grade students will perform at 6 p.m. The third through fifth grade students will perform at 6:30 p.m.

Frost Elementary School: Frost Elementary School students in third and fourth grades will present the musical “Home for the Holidays” at 7 p.m. at the Frost Performing Arts Center.

Kerens ISD Band: Kerens sixth through 12th grade band students will perform traditional favorites at 6:30 p.m. in the Kerens High School gym.



Dec. 18

Blooming Grove Elementary School: The kindergarten and first grade students of Blooming Grove Elementary School will present “Christmas on Candy Cane Lane” at 7 p.m. in the school cafetorium.

Carroll Elementary: Carroll Elementary School, 1101 E. 13th St., Corsicana, will have an all-American Christmas program presented by third, fourth and fifth graders at 6 p.m. in the Sam Houston Elementary auditorium.

Collins Catholic School: Collins Catholic School, 3000 W. State Highway 22, Corsicana, will present the “The Night Before Christmas,” featuring kindergarten through fourth grade students, at 7 p.m. in the school gym.

Dawson Stroll: Dawson stroll will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Dawson businesses and organizations. There will be holiday refreshments and visiting.

Mildred Elementary School: The pre-kindergarten through third grade students at Mildred Elementary School, 5475 S. U.S. Highway 287, Corsicana, will perform a Christmas play at 7 p.m. in the Lane Gym.

Navarro Elementary School: Navarro Elementary School, 601 S. 45th St., Corsicana, will have a fourth grade program, “Broadway Santa,” at 7 p.m. in the cafetorium.

Wortham Elementary School: Wortham Elementary School’s holiday concert featuring Rockin’ Recorders, Show Choir and Second Grade Boomwackers will be held at 7 p.m.



Dec. 20

Bowie Elementary: Bowie Elementary School, 1800 Bowie Drive, Corsicana, will present the “Snow Crew Holiday Show” at 8:30 a.m. in the gym. Teachers will put on skits, karaoke and have a sing-along with the kids.

Collins Catholic School: Collins Catholic School Early Childhood Academy, 3000 W. State Highway 22, Corsicana, will present a Christmas program at 11 a.m.

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church: A reconciliation service to prepare for Christmas will be held at 7 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 3000 W. State Highway 22, Corsicana.

Kerens Elementary School: Kerens Elementary School pre-kindergarten through fourth grade students will perform a Christmas program at 7 p.m. at Kerens Independent School District Auditorium.



Dec. 21

Central United Methodist Church: Central United Methodist Church, 101 S. 30th St., will share a covered dish lunch at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Christmas and communion worship service in the sanctuary.

Kerens Elementary School: Kerens Elementary School pre-kindergarten through fourth grade students will perform a Christmas program at 9 a.m. at Kerens Independent School District Auditorium.

Westminster Presbyterian Church: Westminster Presbyterian Church, 312 N. 13th St., Corsicana, will have “The Longest Night Service” beginning at 6 p.m. The name of this service comes from the day it is held, which is the shortest day and the longest night of the year.

First Baptist Church: First Baptist Church in Fairfield will have a candlelight and communion service at 6:30 p.m.

First Baptist Church: First Baptist Church in Kerens will have a candlelight service at 6:30 p.m.

First United Methodist Church: First United Methodist Church, 320 N. 15th St., Corsicana, will have a handbell concert at 8:30 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.

First United Methodist Church: First United Methodist Church in Dawson will offer the cantata, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” at 11 a.m.

Faith Lutheran Church: Faith Lutheran Church, 3824 W. State Highway 22, Corsicana, will have a candlelight Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m.

First Baptist Church: First Baptist Church, 510 W. Collin St., Corsicana, will have a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 5:30 p.m.

First Baptist Church: First Baptist Church in Hubbard will have a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 5 p.m.

Dec. 31

American Legion Post 22: American Legion Post 22, 632 N. Beaton St., invites members and their guests to a New Year’s Eve dance. Performing will be Drag ‘n’ Sounds Entertainment with Steve Brooks from 8 p.m. to midnight. No cover charge. Post will open at 2 p.m. The post will be closed New Year’s Day. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3366: Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3366, located at Veterans Drive off West State Highway 31, will host its annual New Year’s Eve dance. Entertainment will be provided by Heart of Texas Road Gang from 8 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $15 each and may be purchased in advance or at the door until sold out.
