FCCLA, CHS Angel Tree effort a rousing success

This year FCCLA and CHS Organization got together to start a CHS Angel Tree. With the help of Salvation Army suppling the names of children in Navarro County and CHS Staff and students, there was donated a total of 164 items to the Salvation Army.

Salvation Army representative Major Chuck Anderson stated "in all my years working with Salvation Army this is by far the most gifts that a high school has ever given."

“As a teacher at the high school I feel like it is our duty to help our community and my fellow staff members took my thought and made it happen,” said Shelby Curl. “The teachers played a major role in our success. Thank you to all staff and students for all your contributions.”
