Grand Jury indicts 42 cases

Corsicana — The Navarro County Grand Jury met Thursday, with indictments issued in 42 cases against 39 individuals.

Indicted on multiple charges was Celso S. Garza, who received three indictments Thursday. According to Navarro County District Attorney Lowell Thompson, Garza was allegedly found in possession of proceeds of a theft, and further found to be unlawfully in possession of body armor and a firearm due to his status as a convicted felon.

Olexus Lancon was indicted on two counts of injury to a child stemming a report filed by a Dallas hospital about injuries to a child. Jhonathan Hernandez was also indicted on a charge of injury to a child in connection with the same report, Thompson said.

Crystal L. Sparkman-Webb was indicted on charges of endangering a child. Thompson said Sparkman-Webb and her new-born child allegedly tested positive for drugs.

• Benjamin Armant, aggravated sexual assault.

• Jahari T. Dixon, assault/family violence with airway blocked.

• Zachary C. Edwards, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

• Kevin L. Elliot, aggravated assault.

• Leigh A. Goff, aggravated assault.

• Patrick J. Faulk, failure to comply with registration requirements.

• Barry L. Forrester, possession of a controlled substance over one gram/under four grams.

• Celso S. Garza, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon; unlawful possession of metal body armor, theft.

• Emily Henry, theft (enhanced).

• Jhonathan Hernandez, injury to a child.

• Keith T. Hood, tampering with physical evidence; possession of a controlled substance over one gram/under four grams with intent to deliver.

• Olexus Lancon, injury to a child (two counts).

• Gabriel L. Lee, assault/family violence with airway blocked.

• Timothy Lewis, possession of a controlled substance under one gram.

• Sarah E. Little, possession of marijuana over four ounces/under five pounds.

• Carl Long, possession or transport of a chemical with intent to manufacture.

• Deidre D. Lyle, possession of a controlled substance under one gram.

• Andrew M. Merridith, theft.

• Blake Edward Meredith, assault/family violence with airway blocked.

• Nita K. Mesker, theft (enhanced).

• Michael Munoz, possession of a controlled substance under one gram.

• Ikenna N. Nwajiaku, tampering with physical evidence.

• Richard M. Penny, assault/family violence with previous conviction.

• Jonathan U. Polk, injury to a disabled.

• Jobane Ponce, assault/family violence with airway blocked.

• Todd K. Ray, credit card abuse.

• Juan M. Reyes-Grimaldo, possession of a controlled substance under one gram.

• Anthony D. Richards, organized crime.

• Jayson E. Roaf, possession of a controlled substance over four grams/under 200 grams.

• Adolfo Pablo-Rubio, possession of a controlled substance under one gram.

• Milton Rodriguez-Balino, possession of a controlled substance under one gram.

• Crystal L. Sparkman-Webb, endangering a child.

• Billy J. Spillman, assault on a public servant.

• Nathan E. Stricklen, cruelty to animals.

• Donna D. Terry, possession of a controlled substance under one gram.

• Marcello D. Thomas, tampering with physical evidence.

• Lee R. Wilson, possession of a controlled substance under one gram.

Thursday was the final meeting of the July-term grand jury panel. A new panel will be selected and begin monthly meetings in January.
