The Navarro County Commissioner Court will consider action on issuing bonds to help pay for the courthouse renovation when it meets at 10 a.m. Monday.
The county government is expected to move out of the courthouse this summer to make way for an extensive renovation of the old building. The county bought the CISD administration building property to use as an annex location. Other county offices are expected to move to the old Navarro Mall on North Main Street during the historic renovation, expected to last up to three years.
Also on the agenda is approving a contract for storage for the County Clerk’s office for files that have been digitized but can’t be thrown out, and approving a bid on a used dump truck.
