Corsicana — News and announcements from congregations throughout Navarro County.

Grace Community Church is so excited to share that God has faithfully provided us with a new Student Pastor. Jess Demarest and his wife, Laura, have been married for 10 years, and they have one daughter (Lila, 5). Jess has been the Student Pastor at Louetta Road Baptist Church in Spring for the past eight years. He is a graduate of McNeese St. University, where he played football, and was selected all conference in 2004. He also recently graduated with a Master’s of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jess is smart, funny, and displays the kind of character and integrity that we’ve become accustomed to in our student leadership. We are so happy to have Jess and his family on board; please stop by to give them a big Corsicana welcome.  GCC worship services are held on Sundays at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., and Wednesday night Awana and youth activities are held on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. Hope to see you soon.
