Corsicana — The Corsicana Newcomers' Club will hold its monthly meeting at 11 a.m. at the Kinsloe House. The Corsicana Apartment Association will hold a dinner meeting at 5:30 p.m. at the Kinsloe House, 618 W. Third Ave. The Texas Apartment Association webinar will cover “The Ins and Outs of Evictions” presented by attorney for the Houston Apartment Association Howard Bookstaff. Navarro County AARP Chapter 4653 will meet at 2 p.m. in Northwest Apartments Community Room, 1360 N. 13th Ave., Corsicana. Paula Butler, County Extension agent of Family and Consumer Science will present the program. Guests are invited to come and visit. Refreshments will be provided. Cinergy Cinemas is hosting a blood drive from 5 to 10 p.m. at 3501 Corsicana Crossing Blvd. on the Carter BloodCare bus. In conjunction with the release of the movie “G.I. The VFW on Hwy 31 West will hold its end of the month, regular Saturday night dance at the VFW Hall from 8 p.m. till 12 midnight. Classic Country is the band. There is no cover charge, but donations will be accepted at the door to help pay the band.
