Corsicana — Inbound phone service to the Navarro County Courthouse has been restored.
Callers to county offices and the Navarro County Sheriff's Office were getting nothing but busy signals much of the day Thursday.
County Judge H.M. Davenport Jr. said the problem was believed to be with an AT&T fiber optic line. An unrelated power failure - the result of a wind-damaged power pole on Second Avenue - also disrupted courthouse operations.
The Corsicana Government Center was without power for about 30 minutes Thusday morning when a standby generator failed to function properly.
Oncor repair crews had a stretch of Second Avenue blocked to repair the damaged utility pole.
