Lone Star Cowboy Church of Navarro County, located at 4495 W. State Hwy. 22, invites all to join us for our Sunday Church Service starting at 10 a.m. We have nursery for babies through age 2 years and activities for 3 and 4 year olds. Children ages 5 through 12 are invited to meet in the children's building for Children's Church. We also have the following activities, Monday nights at 7 p.m. Mounted Shooting and Celebrate Recovery; Team Ropin' at 7 p.m., Wednesday Night Bible Study at 7 p.m., Youth Dinner from 6:30 to 7 p.m. and Youth Service, also on Wednesdays. In March, UCCA Mounted Shooting Finals-Red Oak will be March 15. Open Mic night will be March 21, with March 23 as Communion Sunday. Eatin’ Meetin’ will take place Sunday, March 30, and Christ in the Passover will be 6 p.m. April 7.
Missionary Baptist Church, 405 S. 15th Street, Corsicana. MBC is experiencing God's wonderful and exciting blessings. Not only will the regular order of services be held this week starting with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and Morning Worship at 10:50 a.m., but baptism of two recent additions to the church family will be held at the close of the 4 p.m. afternoon service. Baptism is always a wonderful service to observe seeing someone make that first step of obedience to Christ in their Christian walk. Wednesday at 7 p.m. the Adult Bible Class and the youth class meet for study and fun afterwards in the gym for the younger set. The Friday Night Fun Night has become very popular with all age groups including the adults. Everyone is encouraged to come anytime after 6 p.m. for the fun. A NOTE: Preparation began in earnest this past Saturday for summer Vacation Bible School. The directors attended a workshop sponsored by the Bogard Press to help them get ready. Life in the Word Bible Church, 1408 N. Beaton, where Emma Jessie is pastor, will kick off its First Sunday Praise Night at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 2. Love Chapel Baptist Church located at 400 North Benton Street, where David E. Wilson serves as Pastor and Sharron D. Wilson serves as Minister, will have a service of honor and recognition to their Pastor David E. Wilson at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2014. The theme for the occasion is “Chosen To Be A Witness” from the scripture text Isaiah 61:1.Pastor Wilson is a Man of God that teaches and preaches the Word of God with exuberance and power and has a great love for God and the people of God. The Cowboy Church of Corsicana, 5864 W. Hwy. 31 (two miles west of Walmart) cordially invites the public to be a part of its Sunday morning praise and worship service at 10 a.m. every Sunday. Bible Study is held at the church on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. The CCC band provides excellent music for the church service each and every week. Northside Baptist Church offers Grief Share, a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are grieving the death of someone close. Grief Share is non-denominational and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. A 13-week course begins Wednesday, Jan. 15 at Northside Baptist Church. The meeting will be in the white house across the street from Northside, 222 Forest Lane beginning at 6 p.m. and ending at 8 p.m. You will have the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a loss, learn from their experiences and share your own.
