K.C. Wyatt, President and CEO of Community National Bank & Trust of Texas, announces the addition of Steven Nutt, CPA, as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the bank.
Nutt joins Community National Bank & Trust with more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He specializes in the areas of accounting, risk management, strategic planning, compliance, credit review and operations. Most recently, he was the Chief Risk Officer and Senior Vice President at Independence Bank of Georgia where he was largely responsible for monitoring and implementing a credit risk culture to benefit the bank during tough lending times. Prior to that, Nutt worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Mountain Heritage Bank. Earlier in his career, he served as Controller at other community banks in Georgia.
Nutt graduated from Harding University with his Bachelor of Business Administration and earned his Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting and management from Brenau University. He also completed graduate level accounting courses at Mercer University.

He brings a wealth of knowledge in the areas of financial management and strategic planning that will greatly benefit the bank as it continues to grow,” said Wyatt. Nutt and his wife, Jennifer, are relocating to Corsicana from Georgia with their three children.
Community National Bank & Trust has locations in Corsicana, Buffalo, Fairfield, Frost, Mineral Wells, Possum Kingdom, Red Oak, Richland Chambers Lake and Weatherford. The bank is owned by Community Bank Holdings of Texas based in Corsicana and has assets of approximately $500 million. Its trust and investment department manages over $209 million for local individuals, businesses and charitable foundations, and it makes charitable grants totaling over $500,000 annually to local non-profit organizations.
