Navarro County Grand Jury indicts 38 cases

Corsicana — The Navarro County Grand Jury handed down 38 indictments against 37 individuals at its June meeting held Thursday at the Navarro County Courthouse.

Three indictments were issued against individuals arrested after an investigation by the Joint Drug Task Force in Corsicana. Kevin M. Ballard, Curtis E. Draper, and LaRhonda R. Draper were all charged with possession of a controlled substance under 28 grams in a drug-free zone, said R. Lowell Thompson, Navarro County District Attorney.

Also indicted on charges of sexual assault was Glenn W. Pritchett after allegations made in May 2013, Thompson said. Multiple dates were involved in the case, he added.

Two individuals were also indicted on charges of injury to a child. Robert J. Borden Jr. and Nina L. Lanier are alleged to have caused injuries to a child, including a fractured skull resulting in brain damage and multiple bruises in connection with an April 29 incident.

• Kevin R. Hervey, possession of marijuana over four ounces/under five pounds in a drug-free zone.

• Levi K. Bivins, burglary of a building.

• Jedediah S. Cooper, burglary of a building.

• Christopher Bondy, possession of a controlled substance over one gram/under 4 grams with intent to deliver.

• Robert J. Borden Jr., injury to a child.

• Nina L. Lanier, injury to a child.

• Jimmy D. Boulter, DWI 3rd.                

• Joshua M. Carver, burglary of a habitation.

• Alexandria M. Pryor, burglary of a habitation.

• Amanda D. Dentler, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

• Steven C. Elder, hindering apprehension or prosecution.

• Lucas C. Farmer, DWI 3rd.

• Guadalupe W. Garza Jr., assault/family violence with airway blocked.

• Jeffery Gothard, possession of a controlled substance over one gram/under four grams with intent to deliver.

• Rebecca Hogle, theft by check.

• Joyce Lewis, forgery.

• Jason T. Madison, possession of a controlled substance under one gram.

• Dennis D. Pair, possession of a controlled substance under one gram.

• Kevin N. Marmino, evading arrest/subsequent offense.

• Luis C. Mata-Gonzales, evading arrest/vehicle.

• Richard L. Meeks, failure to comply with registration requirements.

• Martin C. Perez, DWI 3rd.

• Glenn W. Pritchett, sexual assault.

• Jose Ramos, cockfighting.

• Sergio Reyes-Grimaldo, possession of a controlled substance over four grams/under 200 grams with intent to deliver.

• Simon P. Rodriguez-Gonzalez, evading arrest/vehicle.
