Divorce Care begins Sunday, Jan. 13, at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 510 W. Collin. Divorce Care is a support group that meets for 13 weeks. The cost is $15 for the workbook and child care is provided. The group is led by people who have been through divorce and successfully rebuilt their lives. This group is led by Chuck McElroy. New Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church, 1808 W. 10th Ave., where Pastor D.R. Lone Star Cowboy Church of Navarro County, located at 4495 W. State Hwy. 22, invites all to join us for our Sunday Church Services starting at 10 a.m. We have nursery for babies through age 2 years and activities for 3 and 4 year olds. Children ages 5 through 12 are invited to meet in the children’s building for Children’s Church. We also have the following activities, Monday Nights at 7 p.m., Mounted Shooting; Tuesday Night 7 p.m., Team Roping and Women’s fellowship. 7 p.m. each Wednesday is Bible Study and Youth Service. Barrel racing is held at 7 p.m. on Thursdays. Everyone is welcome. There will be a sorting on Friday, Jan. 18 with books open at 6 p.m., Event starts at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27 will be Eatin’ Meetin’ and Church Conference. Missionary Baptist Church, 405 S. 15th Street in Corsicana will meet for praise and worship this Sunday at the regular times. Sunday School for all age groups begins at 9:45 a.m., Morning Worship at 10:50 a.m. and the Afternoon Worship service returns to 4 p.m. The Quarterly Business Meeting will be conducted after a brief devotional as part of the afternoon service. Several very important topics are on the agenda. Every member is encouraged to attend this meeting. Attendance is continuing to increase for Wednesday Bible Study at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The setting is very casual, lively and yet informative. Come and experience the fellowship, love, joy and spirit of any or all of these services. You will be blessed!

Wesley United Methodist Church is calling all third, fourth and fifth graders to come GROW! Registration for Noah’s Kids continues for its new after-school program at Wesley United Methodist Church that begins from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15 The after-school program will meet once a week this spring, but twice a week in the fall. Children will learn how to care for God’s good creation by learning to grow fruits and vegetables in organic gardens as well as other projects concerning farm animals. All tools and supplies are provided. The food grown by the children will be taken home for the consumption of their families. The after-school program is a FREE program but space is limited. Intercessors for Navarro County Men’s Prayer Breakfast will meet at 6:45 a.m. Wednesdays. After meeting at various local churches through the holidays, the men will return to the usual meeting place at Navarro College on Jan. 16.
