Corsicana — Over the past week James L Collins Catholic School helped raise over 600 canned food items for the Navarro County Food pantry.
Classes decorated boxes to fill with canned items. Two classes from each the elementary side and middle school side competed to see which class could design the most decorative box for delivery.
First Grade took the grand prize in the elementary school and eighth grade took the grand prize for the middle school side.
All classes did a wonderful job with their efforts and a great deed contributing to their community.
IntegraCare Home Health of Corsicana is proud to sponsor pizza parties for the winning classes and to deliver the cans to the food pantry on behalf of all the classes at JLCCS.
