A Corsicana man was seriously injured early Wednesday when his motorcycle left the roadway and crashed into a ditch.
The Texas Department of Public Safety reports that Ronnie Ogburn, 63, of Corsicana, was riding his motorcycle north on FM 3041 early Wednesday morning. Ogburn apparently missed a curve in the roadway, and the motorcycle flipped, ejecting him. The DPS is estimating the crash occurred about 1 a.m. Wednesday. Troopers were called to the scene shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Sgt. Thomas Moore said Ogburn suffered incapacitating injuries. He was first transported to Navarro Regional Hospital. A family friend said later that Ogburn was hospitalized in Dallas.
The crash was investigated by Trooper Justin Ferguson.
