Corsicana — A Charity Benefit Musical to benefit the Navarro County Family Services and the Navarro County Food Pantry will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 at Lifeline Fellowship Family Church, 5301 W. Hwy 31. Please come and support the organizations that help many families with food, clothing, medicine and spiritual guidance. You can help with a monetary donation, canned goods, or non-perishable items. Sponsored by Catherine Wright, Ruby Williams, and Family Service board members. Holiday Tour of Homes to benefit the Blooming Grove Historical Society will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. at the homes of David and M’lis Long, Chad Briggs, Tim Nicholson, Sherry Smith, and Jean Hinkle. Navarro Regional Hospital will hold a Diabetes Prevention Workshop once monthly for people with pre-diabetes or at risk for diabetes. These classes will be held on the second Tuesday of each month from 5 to 7 p.m. The Diabetes Self-Management Comprehensive Program is an ongoing class for patients diagnosed with diabetes.
