Second Avenue Missionary Baptist Church, 3045 W. Second Ave., will host a free drive-thru Nativity Scene from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The public is invited.

Breakfast with Santa Claus will take place at 9 a.m. at the Shall  We Dance Studios, 118 S. Beaton St. in downtown Corsicana. Bring the kids and a camera to enjoy breakfast, a visit with Santa, coloring and goodie bags, all sponsored by the Corsicana Main Street Office. Second Saturday Sidewalk Sale will go from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Corsicana, a monthly event promoted by the Main Street Office to encourage shopping locally and downtown. For more information contact Cheryl Jordan at: cjordan@ci.corsicana.tx.us or (903)654-4852.

Shakers and Scrapers Car Club will hold its annual toy drive starting at 3 p.m. Please bring one or more unwrapped toy along with your classic car, truck, motorcycle. Admire each other’s cars and make sure those less fortunate have a wonderful Christmas. All toys will be donated to The Salvation  Army. Gather at Don’s Auto Center (Old Stewart’s Auto) at Second Ave. and Beaton Street. For more information, call Dan at (903) 467-7170.

A Charity Benefit Musical to benefit the Navarro County Family Services and the Navarro County Food Pantry will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 at Lifeline Fellowship Family Church, 5301 W. Hwy 31. Please come and support the organizations that help many families with food, clothing, medicine and spiritual guidance. You can help with a monetary donation, canned goods, or non-perishable items. Sponsored by Catherine Wright, Ruby Williams, and Family Service board members. If you can’t be present, please contact Catherine Wright at (903) 872-4949 to pick up your monetary donations and/or non-perishable food items.
