Corsicana — Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1009 will meet at 7 p.m. at the Sirloin Stockade, 2508 West Seventh Ave. Membership is open to U.S. armed forces veterans who served on active duty (for other than training purposes) in the Republic of Vietnam between Feb. 28,1961 and May 7,1975, or in ANY duty location between Aug. 5,1964 and May 7,1975. The veteran must submit a copy of his/her DD Form 214 along with the application and dues. Members and guest are invited to come early and eat and visit prior to the meeting.
Navarro County Genealogical Society will take a field trip to Mesquite Cemetery at 5 p.m. Tickets must be reserved in advance by calling (972) 216-6468. Reserve your space for the 6:30 performance. Nine characters will bring their history to life, and the tour is about 45 minutes. The group will meet at the parking lot behind the Corsicana Chamber of Commerce at 5 p.m. They will not make time to stop to eat so please plan accordingly. The Ninth Annual VOICE Spring Luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. at The Cook Center. When Are We Going Home Ministry will hold its Spirit Sent Music Ministry at New Beginnings Family Fellowship in Blooming Grove at 6 p.m. with its Annual Luau Party.
