Corsicana — Westside Baptist Church will have its Fifth Sunday Gospel Singing Celebration at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29. The program of southern gospel music will feature the well-known quartet Southern Joy. The quartet has been singing together for many years and have blessed and brought joy to the hearts of those who have heard them. The fact is, southern gospel quartet music doesn’t get any better than Southern Joy! The public is invited to attend the program and southern style fellowship immediately following the service. The Women Of Glory Ministry will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2013 at the Straight Way Missionary Baptist Church located at 400 South 15th Street where Alvin E. Smith serves as Pastor.  One vital role of the Women of Glory is to Evangelize and we have been doing just that.  On Monday, we will go out to witness about Jesus to those who have not  accepted Him as Savior in their life. The women of glory ministry consist of women who dare to be different. Sis. Pamela Colbert serves as president; Pastor Erma J. Waites serve as Founder; and Pastors David E. Wilson and Alvin E. Smith are Advisors.

Life in the Word Bible Church, 1408 N. Beaton, its men and women cordially invited you to celebrate with them in an afternoon Tea, at 2 p.m .Saturday, Sept. 21. We want to thank each of you for accepting our invitation to worship with us. This event is to encourage the body of Christ to never lose their Thirst for God, remember that Endurance is only temporal, because we have been Anointed for this season.
