Liberty Tabernacle family and Pastor Waites would like to extend an invitation to the public for “Send the Praise Up” which will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 13. First Assembly of God, W. Hwy 31, Dawson, will host Sheree Moon, an Assemblies of God missionary serving in the Philippines since 1986, at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 13. The Philippines is a beautiful, tropical country of 7,000 islands and 100 million people. Her passion is for every Filipino child to have the opportunity to know Jesus and His power in their lives. Prior to this she served as a short-term missionary for two years with ICI in Brussels, Belgium. She graduated with her B.A. And M.S. From SAGU. She is blessed to have a mother and father with hearts for missions, as well as a brother who serves as Media Director at North Texas District Council. God has given Sheree two beautiful Fillipino foster daughters, Riza, 22, and Grace, age 15. Both love the Lord and Riza is now serving with Global University/ICI in the Philippines in marketing, and Grace has begun her studies to become a heart surgeon, Lord willing.
Wesley Methodist Church at 3308 N. Beaton Street will be having a multi-family garage sale on Saturday, April 12th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds will go to the church budget. Wesley Methodist will also host the first of the Methodist joint Easter week services at 6:30 Sunday, April 13, 2014. Refreshments will be served after the service.

Missionary Baptist Church, 405 S. 15th Street, Corsicana. Youth Day this past Sunday was a wonderful blessing for all. The youth of the church did a great job and the visiting Youth Pastor delivered a meaningful and timely message. The afternoon service included baptism of two candidates upon their profession of faith in Christ. Revival services are planned at the church for April 28-30. The pastor plans to speak this week on the importance of and purpose of church revival in the Sunday morning message. All members are encouraged to hear this message in preparation for the coming services. Other services this week include Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and Monthly Business Meeting during the 4 p.m. service. The weekly Wednesday studies and youth activities begin at 7 p.m. each week and the three hour Friday Night Fun Night begins at 6 p.m. on Friday. First Baptist Church of Eureka's girls youth group is having a bake sale at FBCE, 8718 S Hwy 287, Eureka Tx 75109 this Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (or until the goodies are gone).
We invite you to support the girls in their efforts to earn their own funds to attend the Girls of Grace Conference in Ft. Worth on April 26. The Cowboy Church of Corsicana, 5864 W. Northside Baptist Church offers Grief Share, a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are grieving the death of someone close. Grief Share is non-denominational and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. A 13-week course begins Wednesday, Jan. 15 at Northside Baptist Church. The meeting will be in the white house across the street from Northside, 222 Forest Lane beginning at 6 p.m. and ending at 8 p.m. You will have the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a loss, learn from their experiences and share your own.
