Liberty Tabernacle family and Pastor Waites would like to extend an invitation to the public for “Send the Praise Up” which will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 13. The Gospel Five are the special guest performers. The church is located behind Cox's Carpet One and the bowling alley. Liberty Tabernacle has Sunday School at 9 a.m., Worship at 10:30 a.m. Super Wednesday night begins at 6 p.m., with Intercessory Prayer at 7 p.m., Bible Study at 8 p.m., followed by Praise Team/Choir Practice. First Assembly of God, W. Hwy 31, Dawson, will host Sheree Moon, an Assemblies of God missionary serving in the Philippines since 1986, at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 13. The Philippines is a beautiful, tropical country of 7,000 islands and 100 million people. Her passion is for every Filipino child to have the opportunity to know Jesus and His power in their lives. Prior to this she served as a short-term missionary for two years with ICI in Brussels, Belgium. She graduated with her B.A. And M.S. From SAGU. She is blessed to have a mother and father with hearts for missions, as well as a brother who serves as Media Director at North Texas District Council. God has given Sheree two beautiful Fillipino foster daughters, Riza, 22, and Grace, age 15. Both love the Lord and Riza is now serving with Global University/ICI in the Philippines in marketing, and Grace has begun her studies to become a heart surgeon, Lord willing.

Wesley Methodist Church at 3308 N. Beaton Street will be having a multi-family garage sale on Saturday, April 12th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds will go to the church budget. Wesley Methodist will also host the first of the Methodist joint Easter week services at 6:30 Sunday, April 13, 2014. Refreshments will be served after the service.
