Tornado Warning for Navarro County

Corsicana — Statement as of 4:51 PM CDT on October 23, 2010

... A Tornado Warning remains in effect until 515 PM CDT for eastern

Navarro and central Henderson counties...

At 450 PM CDT... National Weather Service meteorologists detected a

developing tornado. This tornado was located near goodlow... moving

east at 40 mph. This storm has a history of producing damaging winds

and large hail. Two inch diameter hail has been reported from this

storm... as well as damaging winds in excess of 60 mph.

Kerens... Malakoff... and Trinidad are in the path of this storm.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

This developing tornado may be obscured by rain. If you wait until

the tornado is visible before taking cover it will be too late!

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT Saturday evening

for eastern Texas.
