Corsicana Police Chief Randy Bratton confirmed Friday that a vehicle being sought in connection with a homicide investigation in the Arlington area was located in Corsicana.
Bratton said he was contacted by Dallas Police early Friday seeking the CPD’s assistance in locating the vehicle. After Corsicana Police found the car, Arlington Police took possession of it.
During the process of locating the vehicle, Corsicana Police also arrested a female on unrelated charges from outstanding warrants. She was booked into the Navarro County Jail. Bratton said it was unknown if she was being sought in connection with the recovered vehicle.
Arlington Police have also asked Corsicana Police to be looking for a male subject from Corsicana they want to talk to in connection with the homicide investigation. That may be seeking medical attention for injuries, Bratton was told. The man’s connection to the Arlington investigation isn’t known.
