The Corsicana Independent School District is holding an open house from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday at its new administrative home at the Lee Center at 2200 West Fourth Avenue.
The open house is being held prior to the CISD Board of Trustees meeting that night starting at 6 p.m.
The school district moved its administrative headquarters to the former school campus in June following the sale of the property on North 13th Street to Navarro County for use as a courthouse annex.
The move enables the district to have all its administrators at one central location. A new storage facility was added at the property, and renovations were made to the multi-purpose building on the campus to convert it to office space.
On the school board agenda for the 6 p.m. meeting is the release of the STAAR testing; discussion of the 2014-15 budget; approving some purchases and contracts for the upcoming school year; and accepting some donations given at the end of the school year for various organizations, like cheerleaders and Collins welding programs.
The board will also consider some changes to the high school schedule.
