Corsicana — The Church on the Rock is having its first Saturday of the month singing in Rice. From 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. is open mic. Then we will have the Unity Heirs until 9 p.m. A spaghetti dinner will be hosted following the singing, and everyone is welcome.

Northside Baptist Church announces that the Singing Men of North Central Texas, will be in concert on Thursday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m.  The church is located at 2800 N. Beaton. Singing Men of Texas consists of men who serve in various music-related positions in Texas Baptist churches and institutions. The group is divided into six regional groups, which present concerts of classic and contemporary Gospel music throughout the state each month. The North Central Chapter is comprised of over 150 men and is one of the finest men’s choruses in the country. Everyone is invited to be a part of this free concert at Northside Baptist Church. To accommodate all families, a nursery will be provided.  A missions offering will be taken and recordings of the Singing Men will be available for purchase. The New Bethel Baptist Church, 700 Elm Flat Road, Goodlow, Pastor Earnest Betts Jr., will host a FREE male screening at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 until 2 p.m. The screening will be sponsored by the Methodist System of Dallas. All men are welcome to come. On Sunday, Feb. 3 at 4 p.m., New Bethel will host a Christian baptism. Anyone wishing to receive a Christian baptism are welcome to contact Pastor Betts at (903) 396-2333.

The Bethany Baptist Church, 1900 Mulberry Lane, Corsicana, will hold its Annual Kingdom Men Seminar at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9. Every boy or man is invited to come and enjoy this free event. Guest lecturers are Pastor Dan Layne of Dayspring Fellowship, and Deacon Lester Dewberry of the People’s Missionary Baptist Church, Tyler. Deacon Dewberry also serves as First Vice Layman President of the Original East Texas Baptist Association.
