96th Annual Chamber Banquet slated Feb. 6

Corsicana — The 96th Annual Corsicana/Navarro County Chamber of Commerce banquet will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6 beginning at the IOOF Event Center. This year's theme is “Dedicated to Your Success” and will highlight events from 2013, plus inform guests of incoming Chairman Maxine Moore’s vision for 2014. The banquet committee is comprised of Brenda Stubbs, Michelle Presley, Cindy Turner, Liz Rodriguez, Laura Capehart, Heidi Hudson, Doris Horne, Pat Ann Wilson, Laura Frida, Lelanie Petty and Debbie Wilson, who have been working since last summer on the banquet.  

Guests will enjoy a prime rib dinner and find out who wins this year's raffle item, a Kawasaki 4 X 4 side by side 610 MULE valued at $8,200. Sponsors of the Mule are Carl Wells of Action Power Sports and Papas Gas Station, Betsy Stroder of BCM Innovative Therapies, Carl White Autoplex and Lelanie Petty of Petty Insurance Group. Raffle tickets are $10 each, three for $25 or 13 for $100.  Silent auction items will be available and awards for the year will be presented.

Underwriters for this year's banquet are Allied Waste, Community National Bank & Trust, Navarro College and Navarro Regional Hospital. Tickets for a table of eight are $375. Individual tickets are $50.

Tickets for the banquet and the Kawasaki 610 Mule may be purchased at the Chamber office located at 120 N. 12th Street, Corsicana. For more information contact Paul Hooper at the Corsicana Chamber of Commerce office at 903-874-4731.
