Corsicana — 13th Avenue Christian Church, 817 E. 13th Ave., Corsicana, will hold its Sunday School Annual at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013. Guest Church is Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church, Fairfield, REv. A.L. Thibodeaux, pastor. Sunday School Superintendent, Elder Bobby Hayley, Pastor is Clyde Chambers, Assistant Pastor Allen Campbell. All are invited to join the 13th Avenue Congregation for this joyous occasion.

 Intercessors for Navarro County Men’s Prayer Breakfast will meet at Navarro College, in the Lone Star Room at the cafeteria at 6:45 a.m on Wednesday mornings.  Open Door Church of God in Christ, 1201 East Eighth Ave, Corsicana, will have a Seven Day Revival. It will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013 and continue Monday thru Friday at 7:30 p.m. and ending at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013.  God designated three speakers for this VERY special occasion: Pastor David /Co-Pastor Erlene Williams of Waxahachie for Sunday through Tuesday, Evangelist Ella Coaster for Wednesday thru Friday and Pastor Ernie Sample of West for Sunday.  United Methodist Women’s Annual Salad Supper will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2013 at St. Luke Methodist Church, 2308 N. Bowie, host church. Inspirational speaker Mandy Grounds, with her husband Donnie, will bring the program. Bring your favorite salad and join us. Bring a guest.

Grace Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church invites you to join its family as they celebrate the man and woman of God, Pastors Michael and Joann Donaldson with an appreciation service Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013 at 3 p.m. God has truly blessed Grace Temple with this awesome team and the church family wants to take this time to express their love for them and to thank them for their dedication and hard work.
